Can I have my resort room decorated for my daughters birthday before arrival?

    Hi Robin!

Welcome to planDisney!  I can't think of a better place to celebrate a birthday than at The Most Magical Place on Earth.  Let's chat about a few ways you can add an extra pinch of pixie dust to this celebration!

Robin, Walt Disney World Resort offers deliveries of balloons, gift baskets, and flowers to your resort through Magical Floral and Gifts.  With this service, you must either be present in your room to receive the delivery or you can pick up your delivery from the Front Desk of your resort hotel.  Orders can be placed online or by phone before your arrival.  While I know this may not be the advanced room decorating you were looking for, one of these packages may serve as a fun surprise for your daughter to enjoy during your trip!

If you're looking to add a birthday cake to one of your meals, you'll find that you can place an order for a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake at most Table-Service locations when making your advanced dining reservations.  I'd also suggest checking the Enchanting Extras Collection for other ideas to make this birthday visit even more memorable.  We've booked Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties on a few of our previous vacations to celebrate special occasions.  Not only can you enjoy a buffet full of assorted desserts and beverages, but you'll also have reserved viewing for the fireworks that evening.  Our preference has always been the pre-party option so my youngest isn't out too late, but there is also a post-party and a "Seats and Sweets" party available, too!  Reservations for both dining and activities in the Enchanting Extras Collection open 60 days ahead of time, and Guests staying in the Disney Resorts Collection have the added benefit of being able to book for their entire length of stay 60 days before their check-in date.

Finally, I always note any special celebration on our resort reservation and stop by the Front Desk to pick up a celebration button once we arrive.  Cast Members love to say "Happy Birthday" to Guests and those buttons make fun keepsakes to look back on over the years!

I hope this information has been helpful, Robin, and that you enjoy every magical moment of this special trip!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
