Can you get your resort room decorated to celebrate a birthday at Disney World? Thank you!

Welcome to planDisney, Amy! While any day spent at the Walt Disney World Resort is sure to be magical, celebrating a birthday is the icing on the cake and promises even more excitement on your upcoming visit!

Amy, you'll be happy to know that you can arrange for a variety of special in-room celebrations including gift baskets, snack baskets, and even balloon bouquets available for purchase online through Disney Floral & Gifts. You can explore all of the options and order online in advance, or even for same-day delivery by noon of your requested day. Another option is to bring along your own decorations to make your space more festive for your special celebration - my family loves to bring window clings for our Disney Resort hotel windows because they're quick and easy and it's always fun to come back to them after a long day!

And decorations aren't the only way to celebrate while you're at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you'll be enjoying any table-service dining, be sure to note your special celebration when you check in for your reservation. Many restaurants even offer a chance to pre-order a birthday cake to be served during your meal. We did this recently when we celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - the chocolate Mickey Mouse dome cake was the perfect sweet treat after our savory meal!

Another easy way to share your celebration is to stop by the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and ask for a Happy Birthday celebration button! The Cast Members will even be happy to personalize these complimentary keepsakes for free - you can wear it proudly to celebrate your special day! And don't forget to grab a Mickey-shaped balloon if you're visiting Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney Springs! There isn't a more iconic image of a magical birthday than those special balloons! You might even consider wearing some special birthday ears!

Amy, I hope this helps and I hope you find many ways to celebrate while you're visiting! As you count down the days to your vacation and magical celebration, feel free to come back to planDisney if we can help with anything else! We're always eager to share the magic!

    See you real soon,
    Alison
