    I have resort reservations and would like to upgrade to the decorative fancy magic bands they sell online. Is there a way to do this instead of getting the "free" ones that come with my package or do I pay full price and have to order separately

    Hi Jennifer,

    Summer is right around the corner, and as soon as it’s over, you’ll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort for a little bit of magic. How exciting!

    All Disney Resort hotel reservations include a complimentary MagicBand. You have the option to customize it and write your name on it, and you are able to select from a choice of popular colors. I usually get a red one, and last time, I customized it with “Sith Dad” to commemorate the latest Star Wars movie. You may want to visit the MagicBands & Cards - Frequently Asked Questions page for more information.

    At this time, there’s no option to upgrade the complimentary MagicBand to a decorative or designed one, but you may have more than one active on your account. You could wear one during the day, and a different one at night, for example, or simply use the one that best matches your outfit.
