    I have resort reservations Jan. 5 - Jan. 13 and because I won't be receiving a complimentary magic band what are my options?

    I am very excited to see that your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just around the corner! 

    Thank you for sending in this question, as I am sure there will be many other Guests wondering the same thing.  

    Although complimentary MagicBands will no longer be available in 2021, Guests will be able to purchase a MagicBand through My Disney Experience, starting at $5.00 each (subject to change).  If you don't wish to purchase one, or you already have a MagicBand from a previous trip, you can utilise Mobile Magic on your Smartphone for all the former MagicBand functions.   Alternatively, if you do not wish to use your Smartphone, you will be given an RFID card at check-in, which works just like a MagicBand.

    If you decide you would like to purchase a MagicBand, but have missed the deadline on My Disney Experience, a wide selection of MagicBands, including limited editions, are available for purchase at full price at select stores around the theme parks.  Check out Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park, MouseGear at Epcot and World of Disney and Marketplace Co-Op - D-Tech on Demand at Disney Springs, to name a few. You can also order them online from shopDisney.  It's worth having a look, as I have found some lovely designs that I am still enjoying wearing on my holidays at Walt Disney World.
