I have 2 resort reservations: the first is for 2 nights and does not include tickets; the reservation immediately following does include my park tickets. Which date is my lightning lane reservation start date based off of? 7 days pre resort or park tickets

Hi, Megan, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World trip is just around the river bend, and it sounds like you're wrapping up your plans. Thanks for bringing your question to us about Lightning Lane Passes. Your booking window will be here before you know it, so let's get down to business.

Consecutive Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservations, what Disney fans lovingly refer to as split stays, are so much fun! There is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done, and with split stays, you can experience more than one resort, enjoying different amenities and theming, making your trip feel like two vacations in one. Plus, because you're visiting during Cool KIDS' SUMMER, May 26 through September 8, you get free admission to a Disney Water Park on both of your check in dates. Just think of how much cooler you'll be (in summer)!

I'm also happy to confirm for you that as a Disney Resort Hotel Guest with consecutive reservations, you can purchase Lightning Lane Passes beginning 7 days prior to your first reservation, for the length of both reservations, up to 14 days. If there were a gap between the two, you would have two separate Lightning Lane windows, but since it doesn't sound like you'll have a gap, this is great news for you.

You're visiting at such a great time, too, and those Lightning Lane Passes are sure to come in handy! Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin just reopened with new enhancements after a refurbishment. Pretty soon, Guests will once again be boarding the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opens May 3 after a lengthy refurbishment. A few other attractions are reopening on May 26, just in time for your arrival. Soarin' Across America debuts in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. And the thing I'm absolutely giddy about is Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets which opens then as well. Disney recently released the set list, and I can hardly wait to hear them all. They've pulled out all the stops by collaborating with popular musicians. I don't know about you, but I'm more than ready for some Electric Mayhem.

Megan, I hope this helps you as you wrap up your planning. If you have any other questions, please visit us again here at planDisney.

    Let your dreams guide you!
