Hi, Carrie!
We often find that everyone just wants to relax here and there while staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, so the idea of eating in is a great one!
The vast majority of restaurants throughout WDW are aware that Guests might need to order items to-go, especially the Quick Service locations at Resorts. Don't worry; you'll be able to ask for your meals to packaged to-go for the room, which will not only help you to keep them warm, if needed, but also to transport them if only one of you can carry them back to the room. The only limitations, of course, are items that are time-sensitive, such as a smoothie or anything involving ice cream.
Don't forget that there are LOTS of
dining options at Downtown Disney, too, which do not require a park ticket. If you decide that there is a day or night where you suddenly feel like heading out from your resort, be sure to check out the dozens of options you'll have at Downtown Disney. It's a must-do for my family, with one of our favorite dining locations, a Quick Service restaurant, there as well. (Check out
Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney one of those four days. Your taste buds and tummies will be so glad you did...)
Send more questions as you think of them, Carrie; we love to help!
