Hiya Dale!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for submitting your question today. I see your trip is coming so soon, you must be thrilled! I know I would be. I love visiting the parks at this time of year, especially with
EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts right around the corner and with
The World's Most Magical Celebration in full swing!
As for your reservation, it is possible to
cancel your Resort Hotel reservation, though the process might be a little different based on the type of reservation you have. The first option is cancelling your reservation online through your My Disney Experience Account. For that, I would recommend having the latest version of the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on your iPhone, iPad or Android smartphone so you can access your reservation at any time. If you go into the "
My Plans" section you should be able to see your reservation listed and click on "Cancel Reservation." If the "Cancel Reservation" button is not an option, you can also
reach a Guest Relations Cast Member by phone to process the cancellation directly. Just be aware that cancellation fees may apply. In this case, I would also recommend looking into possible dates for
rescheduling your trip. If you do have to cancel your trip, rescheduling might be a better option if you want to avoid cancellation fees. You can reschedule your trip through the My Disney Experience Mobile App also or by contacting the
Disney Reservation Center, just be aware that prices may be subject to change.
While these options are available for you, I am wishing upon a star that you will not have to cancel or reschedule your vacation. I am sending all the pixie dust your way for your upcoming trip and do not hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
