What resort do you recommend for teenagers or young adults

    Hello Marie,

Thank you for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your planning question. Deciding on a resort hotel is one of the most important steps in the vacation planning process. I hope to offer you a couple of suggestions that I think would be perfect for teenagers and young adults.

My first recommendation is Disney's Yacht Club Resort. This is a stunning deluxe level resort with wonderful amenities and a great location. I love being able to walk a short distance to Epcot's International Gateway park entrance without having to take transportation. The pool area, Stormalong Bay, is one of my all-time favorite in all of Walt Disney World. There is a great water slide from the "shipwreck", lazy river and zero entry sand bottom pool area. Among other amazing recreational activities are volleyball and tennis courts and Movies Under the Stars. The dining options are fantastic, too. One of my top five restaurant picks is Yachtsman Steakhouse. Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is also a nostalgic crowd pleaser among all ages. A short distance away is Disney's Boardwalk with great nightlife and dining.

Speaking of Disney's Boardwalk, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, would be my next suggestion. As with Disney's Yacht Club, location is key at this resort. You can walk to Epcot from this resort, too. In addition, it has the phenomenal nightlife, such as JellyRolls and Atlantic Dance. Another fun thing to do is renting a surrey bike for a ride along the boardwalk and other trails around the resort.

I hope you find the best place for your travel party!
