Which resort would you recommend staying at for Thanksgiving week? It's our first trip to Disney World (at least for most of the group). 4 adults, 2 pre-teens, a toddler and we are all females. Thank you for any tips.

Are you wanting to all squeeze into a single space, Julie?  If so, you are somewhat limited by your party size.  If the toddler is under the age of three, you can all stay in one suite at Disney's All Star Music Resort or at the brand new Art of Animation Resort.  The Fort Wilderness cabins can also accommodate your group and would be a cozy choice for a holiday stay.  If the toddler is over the age of three, your best bet would be two rooms.  In the deluxe category, my top choice would be Disney's Wilderness Lodge, but only because the Christmas decorations will be up by Thanksgiving and they add so much charm to an already lovely resort.  In the moderate category, my vote would be for Port Orleans Riverside.

I hope you'll direct any follow-up questions my way; this sounds like such a fun {girls!} trip to plan.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
