    What resort do you recommend if we stayed on site. Need a villa or condo ( 7 adults 1 child), ability to cook as needed , and transportation for girls to get to various parks . Guys are interested in staying somewhere that offers golfing on site.

    For your group, I believe that a two-bedroom villa at a Disney Vacation Club resort will be perfect. These villas have a full kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer inside the villa. You can also take advantage of Disney transportation around Walt Disney World from any of these resorts. These are available at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village or Jambo House, The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Although Disney Vacation Club members can book these using their Disney Vacation Club vacation points, there are some available for general booking for guests using traditional payment methods such as a credit card. You can call 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) to make this reservation.

    As to golf, Walt Disney World has four golf courses: Disney's Magnolia and Palm Golf Courses, Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. The first three are 18-hole courses, while Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course is a 9-hole course. Disney's Magnolia, Palm, and Oak Trail Golf Courses are very near to the Magic Kingdom, which means that they are close to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort and The Villas at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course is attached to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, and is also close to Disney's Old Key West Resort. I spoke with a cast member at Disney Golf who told me that you can walk to Lake Buena Vista Golf Course from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Another great option is that most Disney Vacation Club resorts will offer free taxi service from the resort to the Disney Golf courses. Simply inquire with bell services at your resort about this.
