Which resort would you recommend for a family with 2 little boys - aged 2 and 3? Looking for water slide/pool, playground, all around toddler-fun features... Would your suggest upgrading for a "preferred" room at some resorts?

    Hi Cara!

I also have two boys, and we have stayed at almost all of the Disney Resorts.  While we love them all, and have found amazing and unique features that we enjoy at each one, the one our boys always beg us to go back to visit is the Caribbean Beach Resort.

This resort is a "moderate" Disney Resort.  The main reason our boys (and all of our nieces and nephews) love it is because of the themed swimming recreation area.  It is themed after a Spanish fortress, complete with water slides, towers and antique cannons!

The water play area for the younger children features a pirate ship, with squirt cannons and slides.  There is also a footbridge that takes you to a nature trail and playground!

And if you are looking to "upgrade" your room, then look no further, because the Caribbean Beach Resort offers specially-decorated Pirate Rooms!  These amazing rooms feature ship-themed beds and lots of pirate accessories, sure to please your little swashbucklers!

I hope this is helpful as you make your decision.  Truly, you can not go wrong with any of the resorts at Walt Disney World!  Have a wonderful vacation!
