Hi Brooke, and welcome to planDisney!
First and foremost, happy early birthday to your sweet mouseketeer. Turning three at the most magical place on earth sounds like the best day
EVER! I can’t think of a better way to wrap up an enchanted visit filled with what I’m sure will be loads of core memory moments for you and your entire family!
Now to your question. Since your little one is two years old for the entire duration of your stay, including the night before check-out, they are considered under age three for the purposes of your
vacation package. That means even though they turn three on the day you check out, you won’t need to pay for their meal if you're dining at a
buffet, family-style, or all-you-care-to-enjoy location; they can share from an adult’s plate at no extra charge.
If you're dining at a restaurant with a standard à la carte menu and decide to order a separate meal just for them, you would pay out of pocket for that item. But that’s totally optional and up to you.
So, as Timone and Pumbaa would sing, Hakuna Matata, no worries! You can absolutely enjoy that last magical meal without worrying about adding them to the
dining plan. And don’t forget to let the Cast Members know it’s your little one’s birthday! Disney loves a good celebration, and you never know when a little extra pixie dust might show up at the table.
I hope that birthday breakfast is full of smiles, sprinkles, and maybe even a cupcake or two!
Wishing you a magical celebration, a smooth send-off, and memories to last long after the candles are blown out,
Emille
