Hey there, Allison, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. No one wants to think about canceling their magical Walt Disney World Vacation, but Walt Disney World understands that things change and have made the cancellation process very straightforward.
Allison, generally speaking,
Theme Park Tickets purchased individually are non-refundable and non-transferable. However, if these Theme Park Tickets are purchased as part of a
Disney Vacation Package, they follow the Vacation Package cancellation policy. When you book a Disney Vacation Package, which includes a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and Theme Park Tickets, you can cancel your reservation without penalty 30 or more days before your arrival date. But reservations canceled inside the 30-day window are assessed a $200 cancellation fee - which basically means that you will be refunded any monies paid but won’t receive your deposit back. Finally, if you cancel the day before your arrival, the full price of your package is non-refundable. Additionally, when you cancel your vacation package, your Theme Park Tickets are also canceled.
I hope this helps, Allison! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
