Hey, hey MaryAnn and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am a Disney Parks Resort hotel pack mouse (not pack rat). I keep hotel maps, activity sheets, and
MagicBands. Elsa keeps telling me to "let it go" but I just love having the memories.
I contacted
Guest Services at Disney's Pop Century and Disney's Beach Club Resorts to verify whether manual Resort Keys are still available. Were you wishing upon a star because your wish came true. You may request in person at your Disney Parks Resort hotel a manual Resort Key Card. The key card may only open your hotel room door and be used by registered hotel Guests.
In addition to key cards and MagicBands, there is a third option and one of the most Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious features of the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Using your Bluetooth enabled device you can magically and
digitally unlock your Disney Parks Resort hotel room door. No MagicBand needed, no room key card required. With a little Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo and a Bluetooth enabled device, your door will magically open. Mickey is a technology sorcerer.
Disney Dad Tip: Disney Parks Resort hotel theming is spectacular. Ask the Cast Member at the front desk for some tips about enjoying the hotel and some of its hidden secrets.
MaryAnn, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
