Hi Chin-Yuan!
Welcome to planDisney!
This is a great question. Unlike Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, there isn't one or two preferred methods or selected vendors providing transportation to
Disneyland Resort. Instead, it's up to the Guests to figure out the way that makes the most logistical and financial sense to them. Most visitors from out of state choose to rent a car and drive themselves. Or you could look up your options for a chauffeured car or shuttle; I flew in recently and ordered an app-based ride. There's even a nearby Amtrak station! While you have many choices, I think it all depends on how you'll be arriving in the LA area and how long you'll be in town. An Uber from LAX can be quite expensive very, very fast. But so can
renting a car and parking it at your hotel for a whole week. Here are some great links that might be very handy:
Getting to The Disneyland Resort Getting from the Airport to the Disneyland Resort TransportationRiding the Bus to the Disneyland Resort Taking the Train to the Disneyland Resort One Pro Tip to keep in mind is if you can, have the last leg of your journey drop you off directly at your
Disneyland Resort Hotel. While you can get to the
Disneyland Resort Hotels by being dropped off on the
East side of the Disneyland Resort Complex and walking through the
Downtown Disney District, this area has a security checkpoint, and all bags will be required to be inspected; bags larger than a carry-on are not permitted.
I hope that this information helped to better plan your upcoming Disneyland Days, Chin-Yuan! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
