Hello, Brenda!
Welcome back to
planDisney, and thank you for stopping by as you prepare to soar to a
galaxy far, far away, shrink down to toy-sized fun in Andy's backyard, and embrace even more exciting adventures at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Let's chat about using those
Lightning Lane passes with your crew!
I'm thrilled to hear you took advantage of your onsite advance purchase window and locked in your first three Lightning Lane selections for your park day. Even better - your brother will be joining the fun! When it comes to a
Walt Disney World visit, the more, the merrier. Unfortunately, you cannot modify your Lightning Lane selections to include him once he becomes eligible to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Instead, he should look for Lightning Lane entries similar to yours. Try for overlapping return windows when possible. Once you have all redeemed your first Lightning Lane entry, you can select your next return time for the whole group.
Here's a quick example of how this could work. Let's say you've already secured a Lightning Lane entry for
Toy Story Mania with a 9:00-10:00 AM return window. When your brother becomes eligible, he finds one for 9:30-10:30 AM. Perfect! You can all hop in the Lightning Lane queue together around 9:30. (My family loves to up the friendly competition ante when we ride this and rewards the highest score with a snack or small souvenir!) Afterward, you can make another Lightning Lane selection for the whole group, including him. Just remember, no one can select the same experience more than once per day.
I hope this makes sense, Brenda. I know it can be challenging to coordinate plans for a group. The good news is that Lightning Lane availability is constantly shifting, so even if your brother doesn't initially find exactly what he's looking for, he should continue checking the Tip Board on the
My Disney Experience mobile app as your visit approaches and throughout the day. Best wishes for a memorable family vacation, and please don't hesitate to reach out again if there's anything we can do to make it even more special.
You've got a friend in me,
Betsy
