Hiya, Hailey, and welcome to planDisney! I'm thrilled that you've stopped by with this great question! It sounds like you're planning an exciting getaway to Walt Disney World Resort with a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel - how fun!
Hailey, you'll be happy to know that your Disney Resorts Collection hotel room should be equipped with a
small beverage cooler. If you're staying in a
Deluxe Villa with one or more bedrooms, you'll have your own kitchen with a full refrigerator and freezer, as well as a washer and dryer! Family Suites, like the ones at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort, have a small refrigerator with a freezer shelf. You're welcome to bring a cooler to your room and fill it with ice to keep additional items cold, and when you head to the parks, you can use ice packs (not loose ice) if you have items that need to stay cold. Check out the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules for specifics on what's allowed in the Disney Theme Parks.
My Panelist pals and I have found lots of ways to beat the Florida heat! In the warm summer months, many Guests choose to stay cool with personal neck fans and cooling towels. I stay cool with a DOLE Whip in hand and choosing a shaded spot to watch the parade! If you have medical needs or little ones in tow,
First Aid Centers and
Baby Care Centers are also great places to take a break from the elements. And when you're ready to relax, head to your Disney Resort hotel's pool and grab a frozen drink at the pool bar - yum!
Hailey, I hope you have the very best time during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you prepare for your visit.
See you real soon!
Jennifer
