Welcome to planDisney, Jody, and thanks for dropping by with your question.
Jody, I love that you're planning ahead for your vacation and considering all of your needs before you arrive. While every
Disney Resort Hotel has perks, they are often all different, so let's chat about fitness centers. You might notice that Value and Moderate resorts (with the one exception of
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort) do not offer onsite fitness centers. Unfortunately, at the resorts where fitness centers are located onsite, these are only for the use of guests staying at those properties. Now, in case you are staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (which is a Deluxe resort but does not have an onsite fitness center), guests there do have the option to use the facilities at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, but the "hopping" is only for guests of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
While I can't wave a Magic wand and assist with the quick building of a fitness center, I can point you toward the
jogging trails all around Walt Disney World. Of varying lengths, you'll find these at each Disney Resort Hotel and they often have some of the most picturesque views. If you decide to go for a jog, make sure to have your phone handy in case you find a photo-worthy spot!
Jody, while likely disappointing news, I hope that it does help as you're planning ahead. If you have any further questions, please come on back to planDisney.
Lauren
