Bonjour, Colleen, and a warm
bienvenue to planDisney!
It's always a treat to help a fellow American Mouseketeer plan a magical European getaway, so let's talk
accessibility at Disneyland Paris!
With accommodations such as access to exclusive queues via Priority Cards and dedicated wheelchair access and adapted facilities throughout the theme parks and hotels, Disneyland Paris makes every effort to ensure all Guests are able to immerse themselves in the magic. I was even blown away to discover accommodations for expectant mothers like myself during a visit earlier this year! Just be sure to provide the
proper documentation if you're planning to utilize a Priority Card or
special-rate theme park tickets during your vacation.
Because accessible rooms at Disney Hotels cannot be booked online at this time, I was unfortunately unable to locate an official, exhaustive list of Disneyland Paris hotels that offer accessible rooms with roll-in showers. I was, however, able to track down room tours provided by fellow Guests that indicated the
Disneyland Hotel,
Disney Hotel Cheyenne, and
Disney Hotel Santa Fe feature rooms with roll-in showers. Happily, this means the accommodations are available at a variety of pricepoints!
The Disneyland Paris website directs Guests looking to book accessible hotel rooms to
contact the Client Relation Center by phone, but if you're hoping to avoid international calling rates, I suggest reaching out with your booking request via the Live Chat function on the Disneyland Paris website. This will connect you with a Disneyland Paris representative who will be able to tell you which hotels have rooms with roll-in showers available and then help you secure your booking or share the next steps in the process. It's important to keep in mind that this chat feature is only available (and will appear as a blue box) from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Friday and 9:30 AM to 5:45 PM Saturdays, local Paris time. Because of the time difference, I typically do my Disneyland Paris planning in the morning to ensure I'm able to speak with a Disneyland Paris representative as needed.
One more tip before I bid you
adieu: For additional information on accessibility at Disneyland Paris, I encourage you to check out this
handy brochure before your visit. It's filled with practical details and tips that will help you maximize the magic of your vacation!
I hope this helps, Colleen, and that you have your room bibbidi bobbidi booked so very soon! If any additional questions arise about your upcoming visit, don't hesitate to channel your inner Tarzan and swing back by
planDisney. You've got a friend in me!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
