    What resort would you consider the best for an 8 year old boy to enjoy if the price wasn't an issue? It looks like the value resorts are the most kid oriented resorts. Is that true?

    Hi Debra:

    Not necessarily.  I think a great "price-is-no-issue" kid friendly Resort that my kids have enjoyed is the Beach Club. Kids (and adults), love the Resort pool, Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay is a mini-water park covering three acres and features a lazy river and huge water slide. Beach Club is also home to a character breakfast. My boys have also enjoyed Animal Kingdom Lodge in rooms overlooking the animals on the savannahs. Also, kids seem to love the Contemporary. While the Contemporary has a slightly adult feel, it's home to Chef Mickeys, is close to the Magic Kingdom, and has the monorail running right through the building.

    So, feel free to upgrade and your 8 year-old son will likely enjoy the Resort.
