Which resort to choose with a toddler. Grand Floridian or Polynesian resort. Never been to either so not sure which to choose. Thank you!

Unlike many options in life, the decision over which resort to pick at Walt Disney World has only good choices. Either Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or Disney's Polynesian Resort is an excellent pick.

Both of these deluxe resorts offer wonderful pools, a beach, views of Cinderella Castle, the Electrical Water Pageant, and fireworks, and the ease of monorail transportation. Each hotel, however, has a distinct atmosphere and theming.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort has an elegant, Victorian theme. Does your little one love Cinderella, Winnie the Pooh, or Mary Poppins? All these characters can be met while enjoying character dining at the Grand Floridian. The close proximity to Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner and the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast are great benefits if traveling with a toddler.

Disney's Polynesian Resort has a family friendly, casual South Seas island atmosphere. The amazing pool here has a volcano, waterslide, and waterfall. Enjoy breakfast with Stich, the fun family style dinner at 'Ohana, or Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show. In the evening enjoy the torch lighting ceremony complete with a fire knife dance.

Since either choice will be a successful pick, choose a resort based on your personal preferences. Do you prefer the Pacific Islands or turn of the century elegance?

Enjoy the ease of traveling to the Magic Kingdom by monorail. Wishing you a magical vacation!
