Which resort should we choose? Looking at wilderness lodge with deluxe dining or Polynesian with regular dining. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 2 and 4 and will be visiting in November.

    Hi David!

The good news is both resorts are absolutely fabulous and you really can't go wrong either way.  The Wilderness Lodge is my favorite resort in all of Walt Disney World.  I love the theming and its location; I love taking the boat into the Magic Kingdom from the lodge.

However, I suggest staying at the Polynesian.  The Polynesian is on the Magic Kingdom monorail line, giving you easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer at the Transportation and Ticket Center, to Epcot.  Being on the monorail allows you to more easily return back to your hotel room for a nap.  That might be critical with young children!

Also the Deluxe Dining Plan is a lot of food; I personally prefer the regular Dining Plan over the Deluxe Plan.  It takes some time to dine at a Table Service restaurant and that time, especially in the morning, could be spent on attractions instead.  I think the regular Dining Plan draws the right balance between dining and park time!

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
