Ahoy, Amber! Welcome aboard planDisney! We’re glad you cruised by with this question!
I love that you have a
Walt Disney World stay before your
Disney Cruise Line sailing! It’s my favorite way to vacation. I also love ending a cruise with a few extra days at Walt Disney World because who’s ready for the vacation fun to dock when you step off the ship?!
Whenever we stay at Walt Disney World before a cruise, we always use Disney Transportation to get to Port Canaveral. Besides being easy and helping keep the magic afloat while you're in transit, there are a few great perks to choosing this option!
At this time, the cost is $45 per person, per direction of travel, whether you're traveling from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Orlando International Airport. The best, and my favorite, benefit of using Disney Transportation: when you book Disney's ground transfers, you do not need to select a
Port Arrival Time (PAT) during online check-in. Disney will assign one for you, and it’s often an earlier arrival time, helping you get onboard to start making waves with the fun that much sooner!
If you have already booked your cruise, you can make your transportation reservation on the Disney Cruise Line website. Navigate to the Already Booked tab, then select the
Ground Transportation link. You can also
call a Disney Cruise Line agent to book your transportation addition, if you would rather!
Amber, I hope you have an amazing pre-cruise stay and a magical sailing ahead! If any other questions pop up as your countdown cruises closer to embarkation day, we’re always happy to help.
Happy sailing!
Kimberly
