Hi, Elise! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
The Disneyland Resort goes above and beyond to ensure that all Guests have a magical experience at the parks. This also extends to the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Each
hotel offers wheelchair accessible rooms as well as accessible access to all areas of the resort including lobbies, restaurants, stores, pools, laundry facilities, and more.
If I had to recommend one hotel over another, I would suggest you look into staying at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel is the closest to the parks and is nestled right in the heart of the Downtown Disney District. Plus, there is even an exclusive entrance from the hotel directly into Disney California Adventure Park for hotel Guests. Getting to and from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a breeze, especially for those who experience mobility issues. When searching for a room, be sure to check the box for "Accessible Rooms." This will ensure you book a room that will accommodate your needs.
While visiting the parks, there are
special accommodations for those with mobility differences as well. Wheelchair and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available to rent, and most attractions will accommodate visitors by either letting you remain in your wheelchair or ECV or by transferring to special ride vehicle.
I hope this information was helpful and that you have a wonderful time at the Disneyland Resort!
