Do you have to have your resort booked and payed for if you want to make ADR at 180 days before your visit? Or can I just book in advance at Magic Kingdom and then purchase my resort stay later?

    Hey, Brittney!

Advanced Dining Reservations and resort reservations are not linked. So you can make as many Advanced Dining Reservations as you would like without having booked your resort stay.

This allows for guests staying off-site and local guests to enjoy the magic of dining at Disney!

If you know the dates that you plan to visit and the dates are open to book dining, feel free to make those reservations as soon as you can.

If your plans change, such as the date, just cancel or modify your reservation in the time given to avoid any penalties. You can find those cancellation requirements within the confirmation email.

Making Advanced Dining Reservations is one of my favorite planning activities! I taste those Morimoto spare ribs from Morimoto Asia now! Yummy!

    Happy planning!
