    Is the resort boat transportation from the Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge running during COVID?

    Hello Amanda,

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I love that there are so many different ways to get from the resorts to the parks. Some of the modes of transportation, like water taxis, Disney Skyliner, and monorail are attractions all by themselves!

    There is not currently water transportation from Contemporary Resort to Wilderness Lodge. From the Contemporary, you can walk or take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. Then from there you can hop on the water taxi to Wilderness Lodge.

    Wilderness Lodge is home to Whispering Canyon Cafe, which is one of our family favorites. It's also home to Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, one of the few character dining experiences available right now, featuring Snow White, The Queen, Dopey, and Grumpy! While you're at Wilderness Lodge, be sure to walk over to Fire Rock Geyser, located near the boat launch. The impressive eruption shoots water 120 feet into the air. If it's not working, there will be signage letting you know.
