Which resort would be better the caribbean beach or the wilderness lodge. there will be 3 adults and one 8 year girl. Thanks. Planning to come in July. Last time we stayed at the animal kingdom and my husband would like to again but i would to try new

    Hi Crystal,

You've found a tried and true Magic Kingdom Resort girl, so I really am excited you're considering Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Although Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has a lovely "caribbean" theme, you'll find the convenience of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, proximity to Magic Kingdom and highly rated restaurants a huge plus.

Much like the overcoming ambience of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney's Wilderness Lodge provides an amazing landscape of towering pine, and an 82-foot fireplace upon entering the lobby. I think your husband will LOVE it just as much as he LOVED Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Because Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is considered a moderate resort, you can expect a considerable savings per night but fewer amenities and dining options. If you plan to spend most of your days touring the Parks from morning through evening, perhaps staying in a moderate resort will prove to be a value for you. The pirate themed rooms have become a huge hit at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

My family will really take advantage of staying in a Deluxe resort, booking both table service or signature restaurants and even taking a day off from the Parks to truly enjoy the amenities like Movies under the Stars. We also believe the Deluxe Resorts offer a value in the time you'll save traveling to Parks. There have been trips, however, that we preferred to spend less time at the Resort Hotel and therefore saved a substantial amount of money at either a value or moderate resort.

It's a tough choice, Crystal, but if you can swing it, I'd definitely choose Disney's Wilderness Lodge. For us, the Resort Hotel becomes a large part of our vacation experience and you've chosen a beautiful option to consider!
