What resort has the best pools for a three year old toddler who cannot swim?

    Hi Meredith!

Without a doubt, the best pool on Walt Disney World property for a toddler who can not swim is Stormalong Bay.  It is the pool shared by the Beach Club Resort and the Yacht Club Resort.  It's less like a pool and more like a miniature water park!  It is incredible.  The feature that your toddler will enjoy is the fact that is is a sand bottom pool!  There's basically a sand island for young guests to play on and enjoy.  My youngest son was 4 the last time we stayed there and he absolutely loved the pool.  He enjoyed making sand castles, walking around on the island, and wading into the pool.  He could have spent the entire vacation there.

After that, I would say the the pool area for the Disney Vacation Club (DVC) portion of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge:  Kidani Village.  They have a water play area that young guests absolutely enjoy.  By the way, you do not have to be a DVC member to stay at Kidani Village.  When not playing in the pool area, most young guests also enjoy the wildlife that can be seen from the resort ground!

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
