Hey There, Lori!
As a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member, I'm happy to say "Welcome Home" to planDisney! Thanks so much for dropping by with your question today. My family often travels together as a large, multi-generational group and there's nothing I love more than a Walt Disney World Resort visit where the whole gang gets to come along for the fun. While staying as a large group definitely takes some extra-special planning, the laughter we share and the memories we create make all that effort worth it!
Since you're on the hunt for a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa, it sounds like you're planning a big group adventure for your January visit –– how exciting! These Villas sleep up to 12 people and feature a fully-equipped kitchen, dedicated dining space, and an in-room washer and dryer, making them the perfect place for your large parties to call home when you visit Walt Disney World. By the numbers,
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa has the highest number of Grand Villas, followed by
Disney's Old Key West Resort, and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Villiage. While Waitlist Requests are never guaranteed, I think your best bet is probably to Waitlist your reservation at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West for a chance to secure the room you're hoping to book.
Don't forget that each Disney Vacation Club Membership can have up to
two active Waitlist Requests at one time per Use Year. For that reason, I recommend Waitlisting a Grand Villa at both Saratoga Springs and Old Key West (or any other Resort you choose). Also, I suggest continuing to check the Disney Vacation Club online booking portal on your own, even after you've created your Waitlists –– because Waitlist requests aren't filled instantly as soon as a room opens up, it's always possible that you'll find an available 3-Bedroom Grand Villa on your own. And for the best chance of snagging a reservation from the website, be sure to select
all Disney Vacation Club Resorts when you perform your search. That way, you won't be limiting yourself to just the one or two Resorts you've Waitlisted.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Lori. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
Happy Planning,
Amy
