Is there a resort that allows small house cats?

Hiya, Chloe! Thanks for stopping by planDisney and sharing your PAW-some pet question!

It looks like your Walt Disney World Adventure is just a few days away! You’ll be walking down Main Street U.S.A. and enjoying all the Mickey-shaped treats your heart desires in no time at all. To quote a very famous mouse: “Oh boy!”

While 4 Walt Disney World Resort hotels currently allow dogs (Art of Animation Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Yacht Club Resort, Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort), I’m sorry to report that no resorts currently allow house cats or other types of pets.

If you still want to bring your feline friend to Florida, then I’d recommend booking a reservation at the Best Friends Pet Hotel. This delightful pet resort offers overnight and daytime boarding for dogs, cats, and small pets, including 2-level condos and 4-level townhomes specifically for cats. You can even arrange for your cat to enjoy some luxurious extras during its stay, such as cookies and milk, tuna on a Ritz, a special activity toy, or a deluxe kitty bed.

Advanced reservations are highly recommended. For more information, prices, vaccine requirements, or to make reservations, call (407) 209-3126 or visit the Best Friends Pet Hotel website.

I hope this information was helpful, Chloe. I’m sure your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is going to be the cat’s meow. Come right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
