what resort and activities do you recommend during the Christmas holidays?? Also is it better to go the week before Christmas or the week of Christmas??

    Hi there, Lori!

Any time you go during the holiday season, you're sure to share your time with lots of festive vacationers in the holiday spirit. However, based on the two weeks you're considering, I would say without reservation that the week prior to Christmas is far more preferable than Christmas week.

Historically, the week from Christmas Day through New Year's Day is the busiest week of the entire year - and that includes Thanksgiving week, Easter week, and all of summer vacation!

Unaffiliated sites like www.TouringPlans.com collect statistical data on Park attendance, and use it to predict future attendance. Check out the site in advance to get an idea of what to expect at any time of the year.

All of the Resorts are magical during holiday time. My personal favorite. however, has to be Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The roaring fire in the lobby, the enormous tree, the gorgeous decorations ... just amazing. Make sure to take a monorail ride around the area, and do explore all of the Resorts. Disney's Beach Club features a candy carousel, while Disney's Grand Floridian boasts a life-size gingerbread house in its lobby!

If you'd like, send me some of the likes and dislikes of you traveling party. That will help me to fine-tune my list of suggestions for activities during this most magical time of the year!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
