Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Kimberly. We're so excited you stopped by and even more excited to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
When I had my third baby, one of my first thoughts was, "Oh my gosh - we're no longer a standard family of four!" I wasn't sure how that would affect our Disney vacations. But I'm happy to report that I've since discovered lots of options from the
Disney Resorts Collection that comfortably and affordably accommodate a family of five!
One of my family's favorite Disney Resort hotels is
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. We love that this unique hotel features 5th Sleeper Rooms! There's plenty of space for all of us. The tropical, laid-back atmosphere at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a nice contrast to the adventure-filled days we experience in the theme parks. And my kids rank the
Fuentes del Morro Pool as one of their top favorites in all of the Walt Disney World Resort!
Another great option for your family of five is a Family Suite at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The theming in these rooms will completely immerse your family in the magic of Disney storytelling! The Family Suites feature lots of space which includes two bathrooms and a kitchenette.
If you have your heart set on
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, your family has a few room options that could accommodate the five of you. The Casitas - 1 Bedroom Suite sleeps up to six, as does the Presidential Suite in Gran Destino Tower.
Before you book your vacation, I recommend taking a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar. If you plan on creating a
vacation package with a Disney Resort hotel stay and Theme Park Tickets, you'll want to be sure that the theme parks you're hoping to visit have availability for
Theme Park Reservations.
I hope this was helpful, Kimberly. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
