We are FL residents and are new annual PHs. We are hoping to park hop on our next visit starting at HS and finishing the day at Epcot. What is the best way to park hop b/tween these 2? Should we drive to the next park or use Disney transportation?

Hi there, Amy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and welcome to the Florida resident Annual Passholder family! Let's help you make the most of those shiny new Annual Passes!

It sounds like you have a practically perfect day planned for your next visit. You actually have a few options for traveling between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot. The most scenic (and fun!) method is to hop aboard one of the Friendship Boats that traverse the waterway between the two Parks. They also make stops at the Swan and Dolphin hotels, Disney's BoardWalk, and Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts before pulling into Epcot's International Gateway. This is a relaxing, lovely trip, but it does take about 30 minutes, so you'll want to plan accordingly.

For a bit of a faster trip, you can take Disney bus transportation over to Epcot. Buses will drop you off at the Park's main entrance near Spaceship Earth.

If you fancy a bit of exercise, there's a walking path between the two Parks alongside the waterway taken by the Friendship Boats. We've done the walk in about 20 minutes, but your experience may vary.

Amy, you have complimentary parking at the Theme Parks as an Annual Passholder, but you may find it worth upgrading to Preferred Parking for the day. You only pay once and it's good for the whole day at any Theme Park. I know I'm often ready to just get in the car and go at the end of a busy Park-hopping day rather than having to travel back to the first Park to retrieve your car, so that super-close parking spot can be a welcome relief.

I hope this info helps you plan your day, Amy. Please come by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
