Yay, Robyn! The
Disney Fairy Tale Challenge presented by CORKCICLE sounds like the most magical kind of challenge. 19.3 miles in 2 consecutive days! It's a dream of mine to complete a runDisney event at Walt Disney World too. Not least because of the cool associated swag on offer.
Robyn, here's what I know from the U.K. These events are pop-u-lar! You may have seen the Disney Fairy Tale Challenge is sold out for February 2023. Registration opened way back in June 2022, and their availability tends to go quickly. There are, however, still spaces for the
Virtual Disney Fairy Tale Challenge.
As you are asking about attending in person, I'm hoping that you are trying for next year's events. I recommend following runDisney on social media, as they tend to let you know when registration opens up for events. You can then head over to the
runDisney site and should be able to register directly there for your desired challenge, subject to availability. You'll also be able to log your Proof of Time too. The website also has all the pricing information for the various events in place. Complete runDisney vacation packages are unavailable for residents outside the U.S. at this point, but registration for individual running events is open, and you can book a trip with the
Walt Disney World Travel Company.Did you know they also have
training plans in place? I tried Jeff Galloway's 13-week program way back in lockdown and loved it! Robyn, I hope you secure your most wished-for race challenge! Happy running while thinking about those blue skies and sunshine at Walt Disney World, Louise
