Hi Claire,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your grand adventure at Walt Disney World will be here before you know it. My children adore Disney trips with their Grandparents, and we have made so many magical memories there; my heart is full thinking about the wonderful times you are going to have together.
I'm happy to confirm that yes, because your grandchildren are under 18, you should be able to pick up the tickets on their behalf. Don’t forget to bring your
proof of Florida residency to make the process as smooth as possible.
Claire, if you’re planning to make a special trip to Disney Springs just to get the tickets, or if it’s a long trip for you, I would recommend giving a quick call to the Walt Disney World Ticketing team at (407) 566-4985 just to be sure. It would not be magical to get there and find you need the Mouseketeers with you after all! However, if Disney Springs isn’t too out of the way, I would pop over, visit Guest Relations, and have some dinner - I recommend Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant or Chef Art Smith's Homecomin,' though there are many fantastic choices. What a fun way to start getting excited for your Disney days!
I just have to share this adorable
Disney Parks Blog video about the joy of multi-generational Disney time. Additionally, Walt Disney World has put together
a whole page of magical tools just for Grandparent visits; I hope you find some helpful pixie dust inside.
I’m wishing you and your family the happiest time together!
