Hey there, Rachel! Thanks for swimming on by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's help you make a splash at the
Walt Disney World Water Parks!
It's not even May, and summer is almost here in the Sunshine State. Whew! That means it's prime time to hit the Disney Water Parks! Whether you're hurtling down
Summit Plummet or floating along on
Castaway Creek, there are lots of ways to keep your cool in the Florida sun.
My family also has
Florida Resident Annual Passes that include blockout dates, so I'm happy to help you with your question. While your Silver Annual Pass provides admission to
all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks outside of blockout dates, that doesn't include the Disney Water Parks. You'll need to buy a separate ticket if you want to visit the Water Parks, and there are a couple of options for that:
- Buy a
1-Day Water Park Ticket (there are versions with and without blockout dates, so be sure you check when ordering), if you plan to visit only once.
- Purchase a
Water Parks Annual Pass in addition to your Silver Annual Pass for year-round water fun.
-
Upgrade your Silver Annual Pass to Platinum Plus, which includes Water Parks, certain golf courses and no blockout dates on Theme Park visits, among other benefits.
Also, there aren't any discounts on Water Parks Tickets or Passes.
If you don't need all the benefits of a Platinum Annual Pass, the Water Parks Annual Pass may be your best bet. You can
compare different Disney Annual Pass options to see what works for your family.
Rachel, I hope this helps you weather our summer heat at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Parks. Be sure to float on over again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
