Hi there LaDonna, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
My parents are close neighbors of Mickey Mouse but sadly, my immediate family and I are not. We have a bit of a trek when we want to visit the Sunshine State. As Florida residents, my parents are eligible for
specific ticket offers, but identification and proof of residency are required to redeem this special theme park admission. Because my little Mouseketeers are under 18 and do not yet have or need to present identification, their grandparents can purchase Florida resident tickets for them to use on vacation. In short, the answer to your question is: yes, but only for Guests under 18 years of age.
If you are looking to purchase
theme park tickets or book a stay in the
Disney Resorts Collection, and you don't qualify for Florida resident deals, I recommend checking the
Walt Disney World special offers page. There are some fantastic deals available at the moment, including a package that includes an
extra two days of theme park fun when you purchase select 4 night/3 day room and ticket packages. One of the most convenient aspects of booking a vacation package that includes your resort room and theme park admission is that after placing an initial deposit, you have until 30 days before your check-in date to pay the balance in full.
I hope this is helpful, and that you can start putting together the perfect vacation for your family. Get ready for an incredible year at the Walt Disney World Resort, and stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and
planDisney on social media for updates on everything from new attractions to the upcoming
50th anniversary celebration. Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
