Hi Raquel!
Welcome to planDisney! I love counting down to my next Disney vacation, and it sounds like you have a magical one just ahead!
Raquel, as a Florida resident and military veteran, you have access to several discounts. Which discount is the best may depend a bit on when you’re planning to visit, how long you're planning to stay, and the type of tickets you plan to purchase. You can compare
current special offers on the Walt Disney World Resort website. It’s also important to check blockout dates on special offers, especially if you’re planning to travel during the holidays.
Regardless of which offer you choose, I’m sure you’re about to enjoy a memorable trip with your little one! People sometimes ask me why I have taken all three of my boys as infants and toddlers to the parks, and the answer is easy - they have the best time! I think you’ll find
Magic Kingdom Park has the most options when it comes to toddler-friendly attractions. We’re visiting again in December, and my youngest is just one year old as well, so we have lots of time planned at Magic Kingdom. Some of our favorite attractions here are Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. You can see a
full list of attractions without a height requirement on the Walt Disney World Resort website. It’s a great tool to help plan your visit with the littlest Mouseketeers!
I also suggest making time to watch the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade while in the park. Many people line Main Street, U.S.A., and the area directly in front of Cinderella Castle, so we often like to head to Frontierland or Liberty Square if we’re looking for an area that is typically a bit less crowded.
One of my best tips when visiting with little ones is to book at least one character dining experience. Inside Magic Kingdom, you can find Winnie the Pooh and friends at
The Crystal Palace. If you’d prefer dining with Mickey and pals, you can find them at
Chef Mickey’s inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort - just a short monorail ride or walk from Magic Kingdom. These have been two of our favorites with little ones as the characters are very familiar, and they offer a good break from the hustle and bustle of the day! You’ll also find kids under three eat at these buffets for free - another great benefit of visiting! Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended, but you can also look for any last-minute openings by checking
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability in your My Disney Experience Mobile App.
