Hi Craig and welcome to planDisney!
Being a
Walt Disney World Passholder gives my family the flexibility to visit the theme parks as often as possible and we sure do love taking advantage of that. I can't wait for our next visit to the parks coming up soon!
Theme Park Reservations for Passholders are no longer required if you are visiting the parks after 2:00 PM. The only exception to this is for
Magic Kingdom Park on Saturday and Sunday, which still require reservations no matter what time you arrive. This rule is for annual passes that include admission on the weekend. Florida residents are offered multiple tiers of annual passes that have different blockout dates. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is valid Monday through Friday only with additional blockout dates, so having a Pixie Dust Pass will not allow entry to any park on Saturday or Sunday.
If you are interested in visiting on a weekend, you can upgrade your Pixie Dust Pass to a higher tier. The Pirate Pass is the next pass that includes most weekends. If you're looking for something to do on the weekend with your Pixie Dust Pass, you can add the
Water Park and Sports Option to your annual pass. With this added option, you can visit the
Walt Disney World Water Parks or the
miniature golf courses even on the weekends. This is a great way to add extra magic to your Passholder year at a lower cost.
Please
stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
