Deidre from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am a fl resident & have booked dates in December and I am trying to align buying my annual passes before the 60 day fast pass mark. How do you book your fast passes if you haven't been to the park to activate them?

    Hi Deidre,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I’ve been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder since about 2003, and when the new FastPass+ system started, I had similar questions about how to make my selections when my Annual Pass hadn’t been activated yet. It turns out that, once you purchase your Annual Pass online and link it to your My Disney Experience account, you’ll be able to make your FastPass+ selections right away, even though it hasn’t been activated. You just won’t be able to redeem them (that is, enter your first Theme Park) until your pass is properly activated at Guest Relations

I hope my answer helps you plan your December visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
