Hi there, Karla! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with a question for us. It sounds like you’re doing a great job planning for your next Walt Disney World vacation by ensuring everything is set up and ready for you to go. Avoiding the Ticket Window upon arrival for your first day in the parks will get you off on your adventures that much faster!
My advice would be to make sure that you have an active MagicBand linked to your account for each member of your travel party and that your Florida resident
Theme Park Tickets are linked to each Guest. You have the option to
verify Florida residency online before your arrival via the Walt Disney World website! You will need one of the following forms of identification: valid Florida driver’s license, valid Florida state-issued ID card, or valid Florida-based military ID (all must have a Florida address).
Additionally, you will need to fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form upon check-out when you purchase tickets through
Disneyworld.com or complete the “Customize Your Tickets” step when you purchase through the
My Disney Experience app.
Once you’ve completed these steps, it should be indicated within your
My Disney Experience account that you have done so. However, to confirm that they are indeed verified appropriately, you can always call Disney Reservations via phone prior to your arrival. If you do not plan to use
MagicBands, then the alternative option would be to visit the Ticket Window with your photo ID to claim your Admission Cards and/or verify residency if you have not already done so.
Karla, I hope that this advice helps you continue to make plans for your next Disney getaway! If we can help you again in the future, please do not hesitate to come back and visit us again!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
