Hi Karina! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Disneyland Resort welcomes Guests with trained
service animals in the parks, Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Currently, Disneyland Resort defines a service animal as a dog or miniature horse trained to do tasks or work for the benefit of a Guest with a disability. This does not include emotional support animals, unfortunately, and Disneyland Resort Hotels do not allow
pets.
I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for, but I'm happy to report some
Good Neighbor Hotels allow for pets. On the Good Neighbors search page, there are several categories you can use to limit your search. Once you have entered your dates and selected the number of adults and children in your party, you can click "Hotel Features & Dining" to bring up a list of Amenities you can choose, including "Pet Friendly." By clicking the "Pet Friendly" box before clicking "Find Hotels," you'll limit your hotel search to only include properties where you can bring an animal. Read their individual policies to determine whether your animal qualifies.
Disneyland Resort values its Guests and provides
services to facilitate a positive experience in the parks through greater accessibility and helpful
guides, which can assist in preparing for a successful visit everyone will enjoy. This includes a guide to attractions with information that might be pertinent for veterans, as it was for my uncle, who needed both accessibility accommodations and forewarning about loud noises. I can report that we always had a fantastic time together thanks to these steps and found Disney to be a great fit for our extended family. If you have questions or concerns about an upcoming visit and would like assistance, please contact a friendly Cast Member at
Disability Services, who will be happy to help. They can help ensure your vacation is as easy as possible.
I hope this helps! Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
