Hi there Bethany, thank you for bringing your great question to planDisney!
You are correct that you can begin to make your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. Reservations usually become available at 6:00 AM PST, I usually am refreshing my
Disneyland app or the Disneyland site at that exact time. However, there are occasions when certain reservations do not become available right at that time, it could be later that morning, or even a day or two after. I would definitely keep checking if you do not see your desired reservation right away.
I've also had luck with securing dining reservations the week of or even the day before my trip! Plans change for Guests all the time, so I would definitely keep checking for availability even if you're not able to secure your dining reservations 60 days out.
You definitely will not go hungry during your trip to the Disneyland Resort, there are so many snacks and great
quick service dining locations to explore, no reservations needed! One of our favorite quick service locations is
Bengal Barbecue in Disneyland Park. The spicy Banyan Beef Skewer is my favorite, the sauce has a bit of a kick, it's absolutely delicious! You also can never go wrong with a classic churro, Mickey-shaped pretzel, or popcorn from the snack carts around both parks.
Best of luck securing your dining reservations for your trip, Bethany! If we can help with any other questions or recommendations for your upcoming trip, please do not hesitate to
come back and ask!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
