I reserved a Ft. Wilderness cabin package last November for this October with a 4 day ticket. Can I modify one of my park day tickets to purchase MNSSHP tickets and pay the difference?

    Hiya Stephanie!

Welcome to planDisney! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort sound amazing and I hope you have a great time this fall enjoying them!

I love that you are already thinking about Mickey's No-So-Scary Halloween Party! I love this party and I expect details for this season will be coming out very soon as we are halfway there!  This is considered a "special event" and a regular theme park ticket cannot be upgraded or changed into one. When party tickets become available you should purchase the date you want quickly as they do sell out completely and are not usually available the day of. For the day of the party with this special event ticket, you can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 pm and enjoy the regular rides and attractions but at 7 pm the Park is now just dedicated to those who have tickets for the party. The lights, music, and overall vibe now become a little spookier and a lot of fun.

Normally, I would not suggest using a regular Park ticket on a day that you are staying for the special event as it won't be a value and it will be a very long day. Maybe consider attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on a day you did not plan to visit a Theme Park. It would make a great end to a relaxing pool day and let you arrive fresh and rested for a late evening. Don't forget that you can come in costume but make sure it follows the Costume Guidelines

If you are not able to do that then there is nothing wrong with staying in the same Park or coming from another Park to attend the party. Make sure that you get a wristband from the Cast Members in the front of the Park so that you don't get kindly escorted out at 7 pm.

I spoke to a Cast Member who stated that if you don't end up using one day of your 4-day Park ticket within seven days from first use then they may be able to apply a monetary credit for the cost of that unused day for a future visit. You may have to pay the difference if the future date has a different price. Just speak to Guest Relations in the Park or look in your My Disney Experience account for an option to "Change Dates."

I hope this helps and that you have a magical time!

    Happy Planning!
