Hi, we have reserved a water view room at Coronado Springs Resort and wondering which the best area would be to request? It is our first time at this resort and so looking forward to it! Thank you!

Hello Stacie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a wonderful Resort Hotel that has scenic ambience that thrusts you back into Spanish Colonial Mexico and comes complete with a pool based at the bottom of a Mayan Pyramid.

When my wife and I stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs last year, we loved our Cabanas Room for the serenity found on the beach and loved the views that contained the Mayan pyramid pool area and the towering pastel-colored buildings found in the Casitas Section.

The Cabanas buildings are located well off the water, however, and may not provide you with an up-close "Water view". If you want a room that overlooks the Lago Dorado, the best Water View Rooms would be on the upper floors of the Casitas Buildings.

The Casitas section does tend to be louder and a little busier than the Cabanas buildings due to their proximity to the Main building and higher occupancy.

Be sure to book Advanced Dining Reservations for Maya Grill during your stay. The live entertainment is fantastic and the food is delicious. It is a great fit for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort.

    Enjoy your Stay!
