I reserved my times for the FastPass+ and they say that all you have to do is to go to the fastpass line and use your magicband or card. What card are they talking about please?

Hi, Bill!  The card being referenced is the Key to the World card that Guests are sometimes issued upon checking in to their Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The switch from Key to the World cards to MagicBands is continuously evolving across the Resorts.  It began with just a couple of Resorts having MagicBands for Guests, while others continued to issue the Key to the World cards.  In times past, when you checked-in to any Walt Disney World Resort, every member of your party was issued a Key to the World card.  This card served as your room key, park tickets, and dining plan card, if applicable. You could also charge purchases to this card if you linked a credit card to it.  It was also used to get your complimentary FastPasses around the parks.  This all changed with the introduction of the MagicBands.  They have taken the place of the Key to the World cards at most, if not all, Resorts.  What you are reading about having a card is for any of the remaining Resorts which haven't come on board yet, although I believe all have.  If you have a MagicBand, then you have the latest, greatest embodiment of the old Key to the World cards.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
