Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at Disney's Hollywood Studios!
When my son was quite a bit younger, we did this very activity together, and my name was also on the reservation. No worries! When you check in at Black Spire Outpost, simply tell the Gatherer there that your son will be the builder and you will be the observer. Not a problem. As long as the person who made the reservation is present, you will be good to go.
Kelsie, building these very special lightsabers is the perfect highlight of any visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Without revealing too many secrets of this covert operation, I can assure you that the sights, sounds, and stories within will linger with you both for years to come.
While visiting Batuu, be sure to sample local flavors at
Ronto Roasters; try a Blue Bantha at
Oga's Cantina as you take a break with fellow travelers and listen to "Cantina Band" among other out-of-this world catchy tunes. Be on the lookout for surprise appearances such as Chewbacca, Storm Troopers, the Mandalorian, and Rey as you head to help Hondo Ohnaka on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. And of course, stop by
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities to find the latest treasures this collector has to offer. After building the lightsaber, we picked up additional kyber crystals there; sometimes a young Jedi needs options.
