Are the reserved seats for the Fantasmic dining event wheelchair accessible? My dad uses an ECV and is able to walk short distances and do some stairs but prefers not to if possible. I know there is an ECV section but I was hoping to get a little closer.

    Hiya Patti,

Welcome back to planDisney! When the news was revealed that Fantasmic! was returning to Most Magical Place on Earth, I definitely did a little happy dance. Don’t get me wrong, I have a special place in my heart for Disney’s Enchantment and Harmonious, but there is something special about Fantasmic! I’m so excited that you and your family are planning to add it to your itinerary during your upcoming trip.

I reached out to a couple of Cast Members about your question because I wanted to ensure that I gave you the best information possible. I learned that there are two seating options in the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater for Guests using wheelchairs or ECVs. One is located at the top row, which I believe you are already familiar with. There is also a reserved area at the bottom row that Guests using ECVs can use (subject to availability). There is a ramp near the stroller parking (a Cast Member can direct you there) which should help your father avoid any unnecessary steps. These seats are first come, first serve, so if you would like to use them, you need to plan to get to the waiting area early. Patti, you mentioned the Fantasmic! Dining Packages; it is something you want to consider. As I mentioned, seating is subject to availability, and since you are planning to visit in March (during Spring Break time), those seats can fill up even quicker than average. With a Dining Package, you can get to the Amphitheater later (I recommend getting there between 30-45 minutes before showtime), and your chances of getting a seat in the bottom row are much higher than if you waited. Also, you have the benefit of enjoying a yummy meal on top of all of it which is a win/win.

I hope this was helpful, Patti! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,
