We have reserved seating at the River of Lights for the first showing at 9:15 but we also have a reservation for dinner at Rain Forest Cafe for 7:30 Is there enough time for dinner reservation and the walk to make the entrance time for our reserved seating

    Hi Doral!

I am sure you will enjoy an evening in the Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World. With the new Pandora-The World of Avatar there is even more excitement for the guests. Seeing this new land after dark is especially magical with all the lights and sounds.

The Rainforest Cafe is located at the entrance to the park so it is a bit of a walk to get back out in that direction. With your reservation being at 7:30 try to arrive about 15 minutes early to get checked in. Hopefully, they will be able to seat you as close to 7:30 as possible. Let the server know you have a time issue so you can order drinks and food as soon as you are ready. It is possible to have a nice dinner in an hour if you don't linger at the table.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to walk back into the park to view the Rivers of Life
show and find your seats. It will be about a 15-20 minute walk. If you feel this will be too rushed for you to enjoy dinner and the evening then I suggest you find a quick service location in the park for dining. We especially love Flametree Barbecue which is very close to the show seating or you could also try the new Satu'li Canteen which has some amazing dishes in the Pandora area.

I am sure whatever you decide to do it will be an amazing time!
