How do I get reserved seating for the firework show at Disneyland? Also, how do I get reserved seating for World of Color at California Adventure?

Welcome to planDisney, Samantha! I'm so glad you found us to ask these great questions. How exciting that you're arriving at The Happiest Place on Earth in just one month!

It has been so great to see all of the nighttime spectaculars returning at the Disneyland Resort! There are some dining packages available that can help you have a view with a reserved seat. At Disneyland Park, the Tomorrowland Skyline Lounge Experience is a dining package that offers some magical nighttime views! You will also be able to see Disneyland Forever on nights the fireworks are on display. At Disney California Adventure Park, you can have a seated view of World of Color if you reserve the World of Color Dessert Party. Please keep in mind that each person in your travel party must have a reservation to enjoy these dining packages. Advanced dining reservations are available up to 60 days before your arrival date. If you are unable to secure these dining packages, I would suggest continuing to check for availability in the event that another guest cancels their reservations.

I have a couple of viewing tips for you in case you are still unable to make reservations for these dining packages. Disneyland Forever has some great special effects that can only be seen from Main Street, U.S.A. and I would recommend grabbing a spot in the middle of the street to see the magic unfold! At World of Color, our family also prefers to view the show from a little further back to take in the whole view. Unless you prefer attractions like Grizzly River Run and Splash Mountain, don't choose a spot too close because you are likely to get wet from the fountains!

If you have any additional questions as you are planning, please visit us again at planDisney. We would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
